Online Public Grievances Mechanism by Govt. of India

Government of India takes another step as a buildup to its e-governance initiative. I’m talking about this portal from Indian Govt. which aimed at providing the citizens with a platform for redress of their grievances. The policy guidelines for citizen-centric governance are formulated by DAR&PG (Department of Administrative Reforms And Public Grievances). It’s a Nodal agency in India which is responsible for the timely redress / settlement of citizens’ grievances. With a view to ensure prompt and effective redress to the grievances, a number of instructions have been issued by DAR&PG from time to time.

How this system works?

As stated on the website the whole process could take 2 months duration which I believe should not be more than one month. But it’s better late than never. This initiative is a welcome step and hope it will be able to redress the public grievances effectively and timely.

New Jersey For Team India

18 Feb, A new jersey for Team India has been unveiled here in New delhi on the eve of India’s departure to New Zealand. Now the attire for Team India has been darkened. New jersey for team India has been designed by Nike. Darker color of jersey represents boldness and aggression in Team India. Stripes in the new jersey has been taken from the Indian Tricolour Flag.
Team India will be in new jersey in its upcoming series in Newzealand, where India will play 2 T20, 5 ODIs and 3 Test Matches. Sahara will remain the sponsor as before.

Lets wait and watch what new jersey brings for Team India.

In a normal radio station you can tune in to listen to the music. Whereas, when you tune into the visual enabled radio station you can also interact with the radio station while listening to the broadcasting songs. You will see a visual, interactive channel with more information and opportunities to participate and give feedback. You can see the information about the currently playing song, such as the artist name, title of the song, biographies and pictures of the artist. You can even download the ringtone of the currently playing song instantly.

While listening to a Visual Radio enabled FM channel, you can switch the interactive Visual Radio service on or off whenever you want to. You can get updates about upcoming albums and new artist etc and you can submit your feedback and take part in Polls.

To connect to the visual radio you need

A Compatible mobile phone (list of phones)
A proper access point to Visual Radio data
A Visual Radio enabled station where you are

Aerosmith India Tour

Popular five members Hard Rock Band Aerosmith is all set to rock India in the month of June. Aerosmith, with 14 albums to its credit and history goes back to 1964 released their first album in 1973. It has sung some of the most popular power anthems like “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” from the 1998 blockbuster film Armageddon, as well as Dream On and Crazy.

Aerosmith will perform in Bangalore on 2nd June (Saturday) at Palace Grounds.

Another MP made Indian shame

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been caught in an embarrassing situation with
a Gujarat MP Babubhai Katara being held for trying to take another woman on his
wife’s passport on a flight to Toronto.”
Wow, how proud I am as an Indian to hear this where the MPs are doing
such misdeed.

Perhaps,
I’d never understand why these kinds of politicians keeps India
downgrading and shaming every time. He should be kicked out of Parliament as
soon as possible.

I
don’t understand why in a country like India, the largest democracy of World,
where people have liberty to elect their leaders and express their views, these
kinds of peoples get the white collar job. It’s not the party who is corrupted.
More or less each and every party has same issues, ethics and code. It’s the people
who made party respectful. Then, how come corrupt peoples/leaders get in those
high standards Political Parties?

I
guess, we all know the answer. People should decide to whom they choose much
before this kind of people get the higher position rather than blaming the
system and Govt. later.

This
news will surely hit the BJP fame and this is when it has started gaining its
lost glory over a period of time.

Microsoft India, Hyderabad played key role in Windows Vista

Here is a counter to those people who look down at Indian IT industry and think it is producing software of low quality. I have read people discussing in forums about the low cost in Indian software market. They end up with the conclusion that India produces Inferior software with low cost. That is groundless opinion, I’d say.

On the contrary, Indian companies have won the faith of clients all over the world. Most of the big banking projects are handled by domestic Indian companies. Lets not go too far, Consider Microsoft’s Vista operating system which is launched in the market recently. Almost 40 patents have been filed my Microsoft India, Hyderabad where about 330 software engineers developed important features of operating system. And this is not first time.

Is killing ‘routine’ or ‘minor’ incident ?

Despite so many days passed away after the discovery of Nithari Village serial killing cruel chronicle,
where the children and women were raped, killed, cut into pieces and dumped
into a drain by two miscreants. But Mulayam singh yadav Chief Minister of State
(U.P.) doesn’t seem to be bother and may be he doesn’t think it worth while to
pay a visit to the place where people have lost hope in the system and coming
back of their little ones.

Moreover here came a very irritating statement from the
brother of CM, Shivpal singh (PWD Minister) that describe the incident as minor
and routine. Well that may surprised lots of people as I am shocked with this
statement from a minister just ahead of assembly poll. This may be a deciding
factor of the coming assembly election in the state. What came as no surprised is that police department has
failed exceptionally to find out what going on in the state after so many
children reported missing for such a long time. Well this is out of my understanding what went wrong
with them and why didn’t they feel to take any action in time.

Another news, Samajwadi workers threw stones on a tourist
bus thinking it carried the foreigners (USA), what a good way of protest of
Saddam Execution. I wonder what good it will add to the country’s reputation. I
don’t want to talk about party reputation. What a hypo, Party MP Bhagwati Singh has demanded the execution
of Bush. But she doesn’t have anything to say about the brutal act in Noida. Not a
single worker of the party demanded execution of those who are directly
responsible for the Killers in noida.

I remember not very old news of missing of the boy of a CEO
of MNC in the very same state. Police and media had taken the immediate action.
That news was the front page headline.

Killers
can be caught and trapped behind the bars but what about those who are letting
it happen knowingly or unknowingly and responsible for taking action.
